2 Ways to Protect Your Blog from Click fraud!

I Hope you read the post titled “Can I Block Your AdSense Account? Yes, I Can! Sharing How?”. If not do it now! So, let’s learn how to protect our blogs from this click fraud. These tips are only for small scale business blogs and personal blog.

Monitor Incoming IP’s: An abnormal number of clicks from the same IP is the sign of click fraud directly. Monitor your traffic once in a week at least. Watch the IP’s versus clicks/visits generation. If you found any IP with suspicious behavior, that’s may be the IP which can block your Ad network account. Make this as a practice and protect yourself.

Handover suspicious guys: Make the practice of reporting suspicious behaviors to search engines and ad networks. This can protect you and others as well.

Maximize Your AdSense Income

Do you know ? Google adsense is of course the best and most trusted money making program. This program has extreme and incredible potential to make money from the internet. However, making money with this program is becoming sophisticated day by day, because of huge competition between the publishers who are participating in this program.

There are few strategies that you can try to maximize your Adsense income. Before I actually start, let me tell you something, these strategies worked for me and I cannot guarantee the same success rate. So let’s start.

Changing the Font Face and Size of the Ads:

Google Adsense publishers are allowed to change the Font face and size of the ads… These features are enabled by the AdSense team in the past few months… AdSense allows only 3 standard fonts namely Arial, Times new Roman and Verdana. So make sure that your blog font matches one of these fonts… Change the font face of your ads accordingly to match the font of your blog. AdSense also allows you to vary the size of your ads… You can now choose font size between Small, Medium and Large. Reports suggested that, publishers who are using Medium and larger size fonts make more money than using the smaller fonts, and that’s the reason why Google changed the default font size of the ads from small to medium.

Less ADS More Revenue:

Lot of AdSense users wonder that having more number of AdSense units fetch more money!! But trust me that’s not true in all the cases. Reduce the number of AdSense ad units in your blog or web site and feel the change. I’ve noticed increase in CPC of my AdSense units with the reduction in the number of ad units in a particular page. I would suggest all the AdSense users to have less number of AdSense units rather than using all the ad units in a single page.

Placement Targeting:

There are people who believe that clicks from USA and UK brings some good earnings when compared to clicks from other countries, and know what! That’s true. Advertises from USA and UK pay Google higher per click than the advertisers from China, India etc… so targeting your ads to the USA or UK audience would certainly benefit you.

HTML Editing Tips for Blogspot

Untuk mengedit HTML kita harus super hati-hati, karena jalau tidak hati-hati nantinya akan terjadi template kita berantakan, kalau sudah berantakan bisa jadi malas untuk melanjutkannya, inih dia tips untuk mengedit HTML tersebut :

1. Backup Template
Membackup template ini penting karena jika terjadi hal-hal yang tidak dinginkan, misalnya blog jadi rusak maka kita bisa membuatnya seperti sediakala (sebelum rusak) jika kita sebelumnya sudah membackup template. Cara membackup template ini mudah. Cukup klik pada link "Download Full Template" lalu simpan file template di komputer kita. Kalo terjadi kesalahan yang tidak bisa kita atasi, kita tinggal upload aja file template tersebut.

2. Memberi Tanda Centang pada Kotak "Expand Widget Template"
Ini yang kadang2 dilupakan para "editor". Kalau kotak "Expand Widget Templates" tidak dicentang maka kode yang dicari kemungkinan tidak ditemukan. Tapi kadang hal ini tidak perlu dilakukan tergantung dari petunjuk tutorialnya.

3. Tips Mempermudah Pencarian
Untuk mempermudah pencarian kode yaitu dengan meng-copy dulu kode yang mau dicari kemudian tekan "Ctrl+f" lalu masukkan kode yang dicopy tadi kedalam kotak yg muncul. Kalo misalkan kode yang dicari tidak muncul maka cobalah mencari sebagian dari kode tersebut. Misal mau mencari kode

jika tidak ketemu maka cb carilah sebagiannya atau seperti ini data:post.body kalau sudah ketemu maka klik tombol next untuk melihat apakah ada kode lain yang sama untuk memastikan kode yang dikehendaki. Tapi tips ini sepertinya sulit dilakakukan jika menggunakan browser "Chrome" paling mudah jika menggunakan "Mozilla Firefox".

4. Tips Menghadapi Error Yang Muncul
Jika saat menyimpan hasil editan kemudian muncul pesan error, misal seperti ini:

We were unable to save your template

Please correct the error below, and submit your template again.

Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure.....

Maka hal yang harus kita lakukan adalah berusaha memahami pesan error tersebut. Kemudian kita cek kembali tutorial yang kita baca apakah langkah-langkah yang sudah kita lakukan bener sesuai dengan tutorialnya. kalau tidak yakin maka kita bisa mengulangi lagi tutorialnya dari awal dengan mengklik tombol "Clear Edit" terlebih dahulu.

Mendaftarkan blog/web di Google Webmaster Tools

Blog/web kita mau terindex baik oleh google, lakukan sekarang, karena google saat ini tidak bisa dilupakan begitu saja. Jika kita ingin punya banyak pengunjung maka salah satu caranya bagaimana agar web site / blog kita terindex dengan baik oleh google. Karena google merupakan mesin pencari terbesar, maka terindex-nya web kita tentu akan memberikan keuntungan.

Sebagai contoh, rata-rata lebih dari 80% pengunjung blog ini berasal dari search engine google. Jika pengunjung sehari sebanyak 200, maka lebih dari 150 pengunjung berasal dari google. Bagaimana agar web kita terindex dengan baik oleh google ?

Sebelumnya jika belum pernah memasukkan alamat web ke google, bisa menambahkan di Add your URL to Google. Berikut beberapa langkah atau tips yang bisa dilakukan agar web/blog kita terindex dengan baik oleh google, adalah salah satunya mendaftarkan blog/web anda di Google Webmaster Tools, gratis !!

Google webmaster tool , bisa dikatakan tool utama (wajib) untuk mengetahui seberapa baik web site kita terindex oleh google. JIka web/blog kita belum di daftarkan, maka segera daftarkan, karena gratis. Setelah ikut mendaftar, maka langkah selanjutnya adalah verifikasi web kita, baik dengan menuliskan kode yang di perintahkan atau menambahkan file html tertentu di root folder kita.

Jika sudah di verifikasi, maka langkah selanjutnya adalah menambahkan Sitemap menggunakan fasilitas di google webmaster. Berbagai fasilitas tersedia di google webmaster tools ini adalah :

Diagnostics, meliputi gambaran umum, web crawl, mobile crawl dan content analysis
Statistics, meliputi kata-kata kunci yang paling banyak dicari dan melalui kata kunci tersebut pengunjung datang ke web kita (Top Seacrh Query), ditampilkan per minggu atau per bulan. Apa yang sebenarnya dilihat oleh Googlebot tentang isi web kita, statistik crawl, index dan juga subscriber.
Links, berisi jumlah dan detail link-link dari luar yang menuliskan link ke web kita (external link) dan juga link yang mengarah keluar (internal link), serta Sitelinks ( berisi informasi link tambahan yang tampil di google). Misalnya ketika mencari “warung informasi” akan ditampilkan sitelinks sebagai berikut :

Jika sudah berjalan sebulan atau lebih, maka google webmaster akan sangat bermanfaat untuk menganalisa tentang web site kita dan bagaimana cara meng-optimalkannya.

Facebook Got New Search Feature

Some months ago, the desire to Facebook acquires Twitter, a popular site with a micro blogging service, has failed. Meteor Rain in the google search

Ada beberapa cara yang digunakan oleh hacker dalam mencuri kartu kredit, antara lain:

Paket sniffer, cara ini adalah cara yang paling cepat untuk mendapatkan data apa saja. Konsep kerjanya mereka cukup memakai program yang dapat melihat atau membuat logging file dari data yang dikirim oleh website e-commerce (penjualan online) yang mereka incar. Pada umumnya mereka mengincar website yang tidak dilengkapi security encryption atau situs yang tidak memiliki security yang bagus.

Membuat program spyware, trojan, worm dan sejenisnya yang berfungsi seperti keylogger (keyboard logger, program mencatat aktifitas keyboard) dan program ini disebar lewat E-mail Spamming (taruh file-nya di attachment), mirc (chatting), messenger (yahoo, MSN), atau situs-situs tertentu dengan icon atau iming-iming yang menarik netter untuk mendownload dan membuka file tersebut. Program ini akan mencatat semua aktivitas komputer anda ke dalam sebuah file, dan akan mengirimnya ke email hacker. Kadang-kadang program ini dapat dijalankan langsung kalau anda masuk ke situs yang di buat hacker atau situs porno.

Membuat situs phising, yaitu situs sejenis atau kelihatan sama seperti situs aslinya. contoh di Indonesia ketika itu situs klik bca (www.klikbca.com), pernah mengalami hal yang sama. situs tersebut tampilannya sama seperti klikbca tetapi alamatnya dibikin beberapa yang berbeda seperti www.clikbca.com, www.kikbca.com, dll, jadi kalau netter yang salah ketik, akan nyasar ke situs tersebut. Untungnya orang yang membuat situs tersebut katanya tidak bermaksud jahat. Nah kalau hacker carding yang buat tuh situs, siap-siap deh kartu kredit anda bakal jebol.

Bagaimana cara Menaikkan Ranking Alexa

Ada sebagian pengunjung yang menanyakan bagaimana pih? caranya untuk menaikan rangking alexa?. jawabanya memang aga sulit juga, tapi saya coba untuk memberikan tips cara menaikan rangking alexa ini, yang jelas dan tentunya kita harus segera mendaftar dulu alexa, untuk syarat utamanya. apa yang harus dilakukan selanjutna ini dia beberapa tips untuk menaikan alexa tersebut :

1. Pasang Alexa Widget
Dengan memasang widget Alexa berarti Anda telah memasukkan blog Anda dalam database Alexa sehingga setiap pengunjung blog Anda akan tercatat melalui javascript widget tersebut. Ini merupakan cara paling penting namun mudah dilakukan, cukup copy paste script yang bisa kita download dari situs Alexa. Anda bisa klik link disini ini untuk mendapatkan script tersebut.

2. Pasang Alexa Toolbar
Fungsi dari Alexa toolbar ini adalah untuk menghimpun data dari pengguna toolbar tersebut tentang halaman apa saja yang diakses. Jadi bila Anda memasang toolbar ini dan menjadikan blog/website Anda sebagai homepage dari browser yang Anda pakai, tentunya akan sangat membantu dalam meningkatkan ranking Alexa.

Now if you just pasted that ad unit code directly into your Blogger header you’d get an error or it just wouldn’t work. Here’s what your ad code needs to look like in order to work properly:

This only took me a few seconds to convert since I used the free and easy Blogger Ad Code Converter. There are actually posts out there that explain how to do this manually but who wants to take the time searching and replacing each character when you can convert unlimited sized ad code blocks with only one click?

After you’ve converted your ad code, paste it into your template and it should now work. Obviously before you make any changes to your Blogger template, it’s a good idea to back it up.
